My work 3 ~Christmas decoration~

「希望と栄光」

私はクリスチャンではありませんが、
クリスマスは、年に１度、家族が集まる（日本だと恋人同士？）大切なとき。

今年は、日本にとっても、私自身にとっても、試練・挑戦の１年でした。
そして、今もその状況は変わっていません。

雪の降る街
砂の吹く街
嵐が襲う街
夜が明けない街
雨が降らない街
風が吹き荒れる街
争いが絶えない街

この時期だけは、世界中の誰もが、
優しい気持ちで、平和に過ごせますように。
そう願いを込めて彫りました。

“Hope and Glory”

Today is the day for people to get together with their family and beloved ones (in Japan, it is the day for couples!!)

This year, 2011, was the one with trials and tribulations for Japan and myself and we have been going through it still now.

Towns where snow is falling
Towns where sandstorm is sweeping
Towns where thunderstorms or gusty winds developing
Towns where the sun never rises
Towns with little rain
Towns with conflicts and disputes

I carved while hoping that this time of year, or at least on this day, everyone on this earth can spend peaceful time in a kindly mood
